4. Quotes and Bookings

Submitting an enquiry or requesting a quote through our website does not create a binding agreement.

All quotes provided:

  • Are estimates only and based on the information supplied at the time.

  • May be revised upon inspection if actual job conditions differ (e.g. size, level of soiling, accessibility, or the presence of heavy staining, pet damage, or other factors not disclosed at the time of quoting).

  • Do not guarantee availability on a requested date or time.

  • A service agreement is only formed once a booking is confirmed in writing or verbally between you and Made Carpet Cleaning.

5. Pricing and Payment

All prices are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

Payment is due upon completion of the service unless a prior arrangement has been made in writing. We accept payment by the methods displayed on our website or communicated at the time of booking.

Failure to pay the agreed amount upon completion of service may result in the debt being referred to a collections agency or pursued through the appropriate legal channels. Any reasonable costs incurred in recovering unpaid amounts may be passed on to the client.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellations made within 48 hours of a scheduled booking make it virtually impossible for us to fill that time slot, resulting in a direct loss of revenue for our business. We appreciate your understanding and ask that you provide as much notice as possible — doing so helps maintain a positive working relationship for both parties.

If you cancel a booking within 24 hours of the scheduled time, the full booking amount will be charged unless you rebook on the same day. For example, if your accepted quote was $300, that amount becomes payable in full at the time of scheduled booking, even if cancelled.

The only exceptions are:

  • Medical emergency — If the cancellation is due to a life-threatening emergency, the charge will be waived upon presentation of supporting medical documentation.

  • Rescheduling at time of cancellation — If you arrange an alternate time at the moment of cancellation, a $110 deposit is required to secure the new booking, which must be scheduled within 30 days.

7. Satisfaction and Re-Service Policy

We take pride in our work and want you to be satisfied with the results. If you are not happy with any aspect of our service, please contact us within 48 hours of the service being completed.

Where a genuine concern is raised, we will make reasonable efforts to return and address the issue at no additional charge.

Our re-service commitment is subject to the following:

  • The concern must be raised within 48 hours of the original service.

  • The area in question must not have been subjected to further soiling, foot traffic, or interference since our visit.

  • Access to the property must be made available at a mutually agreed time .

  • Our re-service policy does not apply to pre-existing stains, damage, or conditions that were communicated to you at the time of service as unlikely to be fully remediated.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Made Carpet Cleaning's liability for any loss or damage arising from our services is limited to the cost of the service provided.

We are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage to carpets, upholstery, tiles, mattresses, or surrounding areas

  • Damage arising from inherent weaknesses or defects in materials that were not reasonably identifiable prior to cleaning

  • Indirect, consequential, or economic loss of any kind

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), including consumer guarantees under Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010.

9. Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a re-do of the service or a refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the service fixed if it fails to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

10. Access to Premises

By booking our services, you confirm that:

  • You are the owner of the property or have the authority to grant access for the purposes of the service

  • The property will be accessible at the agreed time

  • Reasonable safe access to the work areas will be provided

We reserve the right to refuse to commence or continue a service if safe or adequate access is not available, or if conditions at the property present a health or safety risk to our staff.
